Charlotte's Adventure

Hello, Charlotte here, I just wanted to tell everyone about the wonderful discoveries that I made yesterday at church.  Daddy is always dragging be to a huge room where all these guys sit and talk for a really long time.  It is an interesting room because it has these funny hoops with nets hanging from the ceiling and there is plenty of room to move about.  I think that the room is called a cultural hall, which is a funny name because it is a room (not a hall) and I don’t think that they talk much about culture in it. It is also funny that they call it Elders’ Quorum considering that everyone in there is much younger than those high priesty guys.

Anyway, my day of discovery started which I saw these little doors set in the stage.  They were right behind the funny man that was teaching the class.  What is interesting about these doors is that they are not big like normal doors.  They were little.  Maybe someone made them for small people just like me.  After all they fit me much better than Daddy.  I went over to them and opened them up (CREEEEEK) and shut them (BOOOOM).  That was fun so I do it again.   CREEEEEK, BOOOOOM.    And again CREEEK, BOOOOOM.  Then Daddy came over and took me back to his chair.  I guess wanted me to play with him by his chair.

I played for a little bit but those doors are much more fun so I went over to the doors again and opened them (CREEEEK) and shut them (BOOOOOM).  Open (CREEEEEK) and shut (BOOOM).  Daddy came over again.  I guess Daddy was really bored with the lesson because he kept insisting that I play with him instead of the door.  But the door was much more interesting that Daddy.  So I went to the door and opened it (CREEEEK) but this time I discovered that there is this tunnel behind the door.  It was long and dark and smelled a little funny.  I crawled inside and shut the door (BOOOOM).  Then I opened the door (CREEEEK) and crawled out to say hi to everyone; after all peek a boo is a favorite game of mine.  I was about the go back into the cave when I notice that I was covered in dust from the cave.  It didn’t really matter, it was worth it.  The cave is really fun.  So I went back in and shut the door (BOOOM).  Then I opened the door (CREEEEEK), told everyone hi and then closed the door (BOOOOM).  I did this for a while until I notice that in the cave there was a wood block on the floor.  It was next to that big metal thingy that holds all the chairs.  I picked it up and started playing with it.  I also notice that if I hit the block on the wall (BAM) the noise would echo though out the whole stage.  It was really loud and fun.  So I did it a little more.  BAM, BAM, BAM, BAM, BAM, BAM, BAM, BAM, BAM and BAM.  I was going to do it again but the door opened (CREEEK).  Daddy was there.  He was getting into the cave with me.  I guessed he wanted to play in the cave with me.  I can’t blame him, who wouldn’t!  So BAM, BAM, BAM, BAM.  Daddy got closer to me; it was kind of funny because Daddy is too big for the cave.  He pulled me out and had me sit with him.  I tried to get back to the cave but he did not let me.  It was frustrating and I made it known.  But Daddy still would not let me go and play in the cave.  Oh well, I guess there is always next week.
